If you are interested in joining "Cregdes" and are prepared to travel to Ghana, you have to do the following:

• If you still have questions, you can send us an email  or phone us (0039-3273505744 or 00393275447323).
• Once you know when you want to travel to Ghana and what kind of voluntary work you want to do, you can fill out the form (through Contact) to find out if a place is available.
• We will let you know if the place you desire is available. This is always a random indication; no reservations are made through email.
• After this email it is best to call Abd Errachid in Italy as soon as possible. During this phone call we will discuss your plans and your possibilities. We can then reserve a place for you and send you the application form by post.
• When you fill out this form within a forthnight, sign and return it to us (at least 2 months before your planned departure), you will be sure of your place (voluntary work and host family). You will also be obliged to pay the application fees.
• You will receive a letter of confirmation. You will pay the participation fees to "Cregdes" in Italy or America within a fortnight on receiving this letter. In this form we will also tell you the amount to be paid in Ghana for your lodging, meals and assistance. Now you can start all the necessary preparations for your journey (see Preparations).
• Book your flight as early as possible; thus you can book a seat at a favourable price. Dates of departure are on the 2nd or 16th of the month if you stay in Tamale and every 9th or 23rd of the month if you stay in Bolgatanga.
• The amount to be paid in Ghana for your lodging, meals and assistance for the total period of your stay, you will hand over to Meet Africa in Tamale within 2 days after your arrival in Tamale. If you travel during this period (something we don't recommend, it is better to travel after your working period) or if you leave Tamale before the end of this period, there will be no refund. But it is possible to extend your stay when this period ends (in that case you will possibly have to change host family or working place). An extension is only made in consultation with a member of the "Cregdes" team; you can pay the extra costs then.
